Hoosierman On A Mission:
To encourage and promote health and fitness while providing a positive
environment for participants to challenge themselves mentally and physically
.
Hoosierman Benefits:
The Hoosierman will once again partner with the Leukemia and Lymphoma
Society (LLS). We are proud to support their mission to cure leukemia,
lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of
patients and their families. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around
the world and provides free information and support services.

A portion of your entry fee will go to benefit the LLS.
Who We Are:
The Hoosierman is Indiana's premier triathlon in the hills of southern Indiana.
The name Hoosierman was derived from the popular Ironman triathlon series.
Hoosierman was meant to provide a safe and fun recreational experience for
the people of Indiana, the local community of Bloomington, and the entire
Midwest.  The Hoosierman staff is committed to our mission and we want to
spread the news as far and as wide as we can.

Our partnership with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society provides the
Hoosierman an opportunity to give back to a wonderful organization that gives
so much to Indiana and the lives of those affected by blood cancers.

The Hoosierman is located at Fairfax State Recreational Area.  Fairfax is
dedicated to providing a safe recreational area for families.  We at Hoosierman
know the importance of bringing family together and participating in
recreational activities.  In addition to supporting Fairfax, we are fortunate
enough to have a beautiful beach and some of the best roads and scenery that
southern Indiana has to offer.
A special thanks to DNR and the Fairfax staff
for providing a very clean park and a well groomed trail.

Thank you all for being a part of Hoosierman and everything that we stand for!
I'm hooked. It was one of the most
exhilirating things I've ever done. Although it
was my first triathlon, it seemed very well
planned and organized. Thanks for all you
did to plan a great race, I'm really looking
forward to next year!
